Livin' it Up on The Southside

If you were to walk by our home, you would see Eric in the garage working on the "Hot Rod." Chase riding his bike up and down the sidewalk like a madman, and Rachel (myself) chasing (we named him well!) after him, telling him to slow down, and Anthony trying to be just like his big brother.

Baby Shower

This afternoon three ladies at church hosted a baby shower for Anthony and I. We had a wonderful time. Anthony decided to sleep through most of it, which figures. Anytime I really want him to sleep he won't, and when I would like him to be awake he sleeps.

We played games, had cake and opened gifts. Two of the women at church do quilting. Anthony received two gorgeous quilts. One he can use now. It had rockets and primary colors on it. The other one is big enough to use as a bed spread for his toddler bed, once he gets to that stage. What surprised me most is, no one asked me ahead of time what size Anthony was wearing. However, all the clothes we received were 12 months or bigger, so that was just super. He is just about grown out of his 6-9 month clothes, so this shower was perfect timing. It was a great opportunity to get to know some of the other women at church as well.
